Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a strong knack for prospecting and communication to join our sales team. As an SDR, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying potential leads, engaging them effectively, and scheduling product demonstrations.

Your focus will be on initiating meaningful conversations, understanding customer pain points, and ultimately setting the stage for our Business Development Representatives to convert prospects into valued clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research to identify and qualify potential leads within the target market (Banks, Credit Unions, Independent Mortgage Banks, etc.)

  • Find, build, and qualify a list of leads for targeted industry verticals in collaboration with the sales team and executive leadership.

  • Initiate outbound calls, emails, and other communication methods to engage with leads and create interest in our products and services.

  • Articulate the value proposition of our offerings to prospects, addressing their specific pain points and challenges.

  • Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria, ensuring they are a good fit for our solutions and have genuine interest in solving their business problems.

  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to align on messaging, strategies, and target markets.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and relevant information using CRM software (HubSpot.)

  • Schedule and coordinate product demonstrations between qualified leads and the appropriate Business Development Reps.

  • Follow up with leads after initial engagement to nurture relationships and keep prospects engaged in the sales process.

  • Provide regular feedback to the marketing and sales teams about the effectiveness of messaging, and insights from prospect interactions.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proven experience as an SDR or similar sales role, preferably in a technology or software company

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

  • Strong phone presence and the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone.

  • Enthusiasm for technology and a willingness to learn about our products and services in depth.

  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals and targets.

  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools is a plus.

  • Adept at conducting research to gather insights about prospects.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

  • Positive attitude, resilience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
